Crime Beat: A decade of covering cops and killers

Crime Beat
Author: Michael Connelly
Read by: Howard Samuel
NonFiction
8 discs

This is an interesting that is about the author and how he got into being a reporter and later novelist.  This is not one of his "Harry Bosch" novels but basically starts out with a story that led him into being a crime reporter and clippings of stories he covered on the "Crime Beat".

This is an Okay book but I picked it up thinking it was another of his detective novels, instead each chapter seems to discuss different cases that were encountered...its kind of  scattered a bit.  If you are interested in the behind-the-scenes of this writer than its a good book to pickup.  Be warned though that it is not a fiction detective novel that he is familiar with.
